Appendix #2: Ventrilo Infromation

Download Ventrilo if you haven't already - this is our voice comms that we use for raids, and patrols so we have faster reaction time.
I insist that all members meet this requirement.
You can find Ventrilo by "clicking here" and downloading their Client application from their website.
To set up Vent:
Find User Name and click the ->
1. Click new and enter your name,(please use your in game name) and click ok.
2. Where it says Phonetic you can enter the way it will pronounce your name when you log in or change channels.
3. Click ok.
To set up the Server Info.
1. Click new and enter a name, and click ok. 2. Enter the IP Address, Port, and Server Password and click ok. This information is found in the Encrypted Dispatches section of the forums (you must register to see this information).
Set up Push-To-Talk (Please set up push to talk).
1. Click Setup.
2. Find the box that says "Use Push-To-Talk.
3. Then where it says hotkey you can map whatever key you want to use, I use the Insert Key.
4. I also have "Use Direct Sound" checked.
5. Click ok.
To adjust sound of individual people.
1. Right click the name of the user.
2. Go to Miscellaneous and click special effects.
3. Single click Volume and then add.
4. Adjust the volume and click ok.
5. Click ok again.
