I gotta put this somewhere.

Before the big PvP redesign to include Recruit gear, I had to PUG a healer in the middle of a HM KP run since our other one D/Ced, so we asked an allied guild if they had anyone interested. We wound up with a hardcore PvP guy that never ran an Op before, but he didn't tell us this until later when we were fighting. He came in saying he frequently has the highest healing in PvP and he's great (research after the fact revealed his numbers were that high because he would focus on healing himself then MAYBE heal others).

We should have known though when he rolled up to meet us at the Foreman Crusher wearing a combination of Champion and Centurion gear. Since he was a fellow Combat Medic, I was tasked with bringing him up to speed and making sure we were good to go, we didn't get off to a good start since he made fun of the robe I was wearing despite being a trooper (it was the Peacekeeper Elite Chestguard, I wasn't happy with the armor at the time)

I asked him if he had any other armor, he said, "No, why would I need it?" which led me to try to explain to him that Expertise was a wasted stat in PvE and that despite my robe, my healing output would be far superior to his in this environment. He absolutely refused to believe this. He asked how I was healing so much since they nerfed Medics so that they were always out of ammo, which go me curious. I asked him what his rotation was, his reply..."What do you mean, 'rotation'?" Hoping he just didn't know the term, I explained it…he had none, he just used stuff whenever he felt like it, he also didn't have Combat Support Cell activated…or any ammo cell for that matter, he said he didn't use them, but didn't explain why.

I explained a rotation to him and what his should be, when I got to Bacta Infusion, he got confused. Realizing the probable mistake, I asked him for a breakdown of his Skill Tree, it was 19/17/5, I'm 31/8/2. So not only did he not have Bacta infusion, he didn't have Potent Medicine, Trauma Probe, Preventive Medicine, Armor Screen, Psych Aid, Med Zone, Treated Wound Dressings, or Field Triage. Granted, he didn't need all those, but he said he only had the first 3 rows of Combat Medic. I also had to teach him how to use Supercharge Cells since he never used Combat Support Cell, he had no idea what it did, activated or fully charged. Preemptive healing in preparation for a big hit? Nope, foreign concept to him.

Crusher took 7 tries to clear since he was always out of ammo and needed constant direction. I was critting around 4k-5k per Med Probe, he was barely doing 2.5k. We never did get past the Fabricator, he couldn't do either healer job. He wasn't able to mostly solo heal the tank and dps fighting the droid and he wasn't coordinated enough to keep the tank hitting the buttons alive.
