    Contact Report

Enemy Encountered: A few scattered Imperials

    Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Oradom - <Disciples of Q>

    Contact Summary:
A small formation of troopers landed on Yavin 4 at 2200 EST to 1) secure the area against Imperial aggression and 2) make sure the rakghoul plague had been kept at bay after the outbreak had camed down. Most of the Imperials encountered on the planet seemed intent on pursuing their own business and were left alone. A few troopers identified one of the Imperials as a rakghoul plague survivor and attempted to scan him for any residual infection that might lie dormant. The Imperial resisted, but CPL Eos gave him a much-needed reminder to stay plague-free, and CPL Derzelas was able to get another scan before he escaped. Another Imperial attempted to engage in a philosophical discussion on government and freedom (neither party found the discussion particularly fruitful). Soon after this, the patrol was completed and CPT Mij traveled to Tatooine to gather intel on Imperial activities on that planet.

    Positive Points:
    • Some RP.
    • We were able to ensure the health and safety of the Republic by following up on potential threats left over from the plague.

    Negative Points:
    • No Imperial forces to engage in combat.

    Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
A relatively quick and easy patrol. From what we can see in the data we gathered from the (admittedly small) population of Yavin, the rakghoul plague does not seem to be returning. Many of our troopers were itching for a good fight, however, and unfortunately we were unable to find anything of the sort.
