Contact Summary:
At 1900 EST Alpha Company had already been antagonized by insurgent attacks within the borders of the Republic outpost. After hunting down and clearing the first initial contacts outside our base, the company moved out to perform sweeping patrol operations.
There were several engagements that sent the troopers calling for shuttles in full retreat, and other engagements where the enemy did the same.
One such engagement was when 1SG “Ricky Recon” reported that several groups of Imperials had split up to find the troopers. Once the troopers made contact, they made quick work of the stragglers before they could call for reinforcements. On one occasion however, CPL Illumori did not call for the attack, but instead hesitated, causing the Imperials to bolster their numbers radically in the time it took the troopers to respond. The outcome was deadly for the Republic forces, as they all ended up in full retreat back to base.
Several lessons were learned by the junior NCO’s leadership. A thorough debrief was executed by 1SG Kjvago and CPL Illumori has taken steps to prevent another outcome like the one on Black Hole.

Positive Points:
- Everyone in attendance fought hard.
- Despite being outnumbered in many cases, we emerged victorious in several engagements.
- Low attendance.
- Not enough tanks to diminish the focus fire on the healers.
- Stealth scan discipline was lacking.
- Junior NCO’s need mentorship and more experience with combat leadership.
