    Contact Summary:
    Acting upon intel received from <Redacted>, Alpha Company organized a coalition of Republic aligned organizations to help defend Belsavis from an attack by the New Era intended to free their leader, Hrokkvir, from his imprisonment.

    1SG Mahr and specialists Aradow and Eroca arrived early on planet to scout out the terrain and conduct a quick faux BRC course before the event. After the scouts concluded their preparations, they settled down in overwatch positions around the imperial Frontline Camp as the Imperials early arrivals began to trickle in.

    When the time got near for the battle, Alpha Company arrived on planet and started organizing themselves. We joined up with our allies in The True Republic and Marine Expeditionary Unit and took charge of the defense of the Comm Tower.

    A few minutes into the event, Sanctuary arrived with twelve more bodies and took charge of the defense of the Bridge. Early in the conflict the fighting was heavy at the comm tower and bad information from an unidentified player caused Sanctuary to abandon the bridge to come aid the defense of the Tower and so, the bridge was lost.

    After correcting the communication breakdown and arranging more direct and frequent communication between 1SG Mahr and Nivhawk, the commander of the Sanctuary forces, Sanctuary retook the bridge. But they couldn’t hold it for long as the Imperials redirected their assault and overwhelmed the outnumbered defenders.

    Upon hearing this, 1LT Rakehell sent a force from The True Republic to reinforce Sanctuary and 1SG Mahr to provide intel. Upon seeing Sanctuary engaged with the enemy on the South side of the bridge, Mahr relayed the intel to The True Republic and got them to attack immediately as they came in from the North. Caught between a hammer and anvil, the imperial forces crumbled.

    Again the Imperials redirected their forces and attacked the Tower and took it. The True Republic was directed back to Maximum Security and with their help Alpha Company and Marine Expeditionary Unit reclaimed the Tower.

    The Bridge is again taken by the imperials, this time by a host of thirty. Marine Expeditionary Unit and The True Republic rotate to High Security where with the help of superior intel and cooperation, the Republic again catches the Imperial defenders in a hammer and anvil strike on the bridge.

    After this the rotation of reinforcements became more practiced and any imperial gains became miniscule. Seeing their surprise attack wasted and the Republic fleet almost arrived to reinforce, the Imperial attackers chose to retreat. The Republic had won the day.

    However when the prison guards came to check on their prisoner after the battle, he was not there. Since the New Era under Thrivaldi had not freed him, there must be a third faction involved...


    Positive Points:
    A great turnout.
    Amazing interguild cooperation.

    Negative Points:
    Instance lockout did become a factor.
    One more scout would have been ideal.

    Overall Assessment and Recommendation: Alpha Company and all its allies worked together beautifully, showcasing why the Republic has an overwhelming track record of winning in these large scale events. We gathered allies, fostered cooperation and communication and prepared the battlefield and won the battle before our boots even hit the ground.

    -All Personnel Present are recommended for the Legion of Combat and Combined Arms Medal.
    -SPCs Romaniski and Starfollower are recommended for the Medal of Communication. For their work in providing intelligence and communicating with Marine Expeditionary Unit respectively.
