Military Covenant

Soldiers will be called upon to make personal sacrifices – including the ultimate sacrifice –; in the service of the Republic. In putting the needs of the Republic and the Army before their own, they forego some of the rights enjoyed by those outside the Armed Forces. In return, Republic soldiers must always be able to expect fair treatment, to be valued and respected as individuals, and that they will be sustained and rewarded by commensurate terms and conditions of service. In the same way the unique nature of military operations means that the Army differs from all other institutions, and must be sustained and provided for accordingly by the Republic. This mutual obligation forms the Military Covenant between the Republic, the Army and each individual soldier; an unbreakable common bond of identity, loyalty and responsibility which has sustained the Army throughout its history. It has perhaps its greatest manifestation in the annual commemoration of Armistice Day, when the Republic keeps covenant with those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives in action.

    In-Game Name: Ka'ne

    In-Game Age: 27

    Race: Zabrak

    Specialization: Commando Combat Medic/Gunnery

    Level: 55

Biography (In-Game): Ka'ne does not remember much of his past, He knows his father was a bounty hunter for the Empire but has lost contact with him. He never agreed with what his father did and ran off to join the republic army at the first chance he had, while making his way to Ord Mantell, the ship he got passage on had to resupply and he found himself on Balmorra and on the wrong side of some bad people. He attempted to stop a mugging only to have a pulse grenade go off near his face. Fortunately the damage was not significant and he only suffered minor memory loss and a really cool scar... chicks dig scars. As a result all he could piece together at that point was his lat name that was stamped on the inside of his jacket. He had no clue where he was or where he was going. He hopped around as a security guard for ship transports and finding odd jobs here and there as a farm hand. He took an interest in medicine and learned what he could from holonets about mending and tried to use his skills to help troops that come back from the front lines. He feels a higher purpose but cant pin point what it would be. Fiercely loyal and steadfast. He longs for a chance to be something more.

Biography (Real Life): My name is Mike. I live in Idaho (MNT Time) im a medically discharged member of the armed forces. 4 years Marine Corps 2311 Ammunition Technician and 11 years Army 15T Blackhawk Crew Chief. I work for IDOC as a correctional officer. Married for 10 years and 3 little girls (going to hate life in about 10 more years) Been playing SWTOR since about the second week after launch. multiple characters on both sides. It has been a very long time since i have done any RP so the character Bio was done on the fly. Anything else fill free to ask. Looking forward to having fun with you guys.
