Troops in Formation: Sergeant-Major Rux, Sergeant Savene, Sergeant Zooey, Corporal Waters, Æris, Skrend, Mitchal, Arklite, Nikolai, Marcelus, Jarid'gax
Areas Patrolled: Dune Sea, Smugglers Den
Enemy Encountered: DREAD was the main threat, then some other Imperials. Roughly 10-14
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: The Betrayed is the guild who set this event up to storm a base. We grouped with a small squad of theirs, 8 or so, lead by Thaeus.
Positive Points: Once we got our tactics in place to put up a good fight against a far superior threat than we could pose toe to toe, they left. It seems when you get owned by Gear, Level, etc (we had about 5 below 50 and half our 50's were newly appointed with not heavy gear) they tend to leave. We will continue to implement more tactics, organization and preparation before we encounter the enemy from now on.
The "hold fire" command was put to the test and we did well.
Negative Points: Took a couple unorganized wipes to get properly organized.... I hope to try and stop this from happening.
Hopefully we can get more of this going on because there are many guilds now, republic and Imperial that seem to be interested in world PVP.
