Enemy Encountered: <Arkangel's Revenge> (Fiesty), several members from <The Order of the Red Hand> and <The Legacy of Darkness>
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: None
Contact Summary:
At 0200 hours, a team of Alpha Company troopers arrived on Tatooine after obtaining intel of Imperial presence on the planet. The team moved toward Outpost Zaroshe where they encountered Fiesty, a known enemy and nuisance. Alpha Company ran through the base defenses and eliminated the target, suffering only a few casualties. The team then regrouped and entrenched itself inside the outpost. Imperial reinforcements soon arrived, consisting of several enemies of our level. A few lower levels also came, but were ignored unless they initiated combat. Alpha Company remained in the base for at least an hour, inflicting heavy casualties on the Imperials. The team was finally pushed out of the base by the unending stream of Imperials when the outpost guards entered the fight. Undeterred, the team regrouped once more and approached this time from behind the outpost. At this point we were joined by Jun'lar. After several more successful battles with minimal casualties on our side (and storming the outpost once more to eliminate Fiesty), Alpha Company victoriously returned to Anchorhead.
Positive Points:
• We had a small but capable and coordinated team which worked together effectively.
• We took the fight to the Imperials and asserted Republic dominance in the area.
Negative Points:
• Not much RP during the assault.
• There were a few occasions in which we unnecessarily wandered within range of guards, which resulted in some deaths.
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
Good spontaneous event. It's enjoyable to fight Imperials in their own base for once. It was also good to see that despite the time, the Imperials mustered a force that was about equal to our own (even if they did use companions and have lowbies tagging along). Good teamwork and coordination, as usual.
