    Contact Summary:
Aurek Base on Hoth has reported attacks on supply lines and disruptions of local patrols in the Clabburn Tundra region due to a local menace, a massive kintan crusher known by the local Talz as “Gargath.” Republic Command tasked Alpha Company with dealing situation and to patrol the area for missing supplies in the wake of the beast's rampaging.

At approximately 00:00 local time, the Alpha Company assault team mustered in the Clabburn Tundra region where the Kintan Crusher was last reported by local Talz scouts, with CPT Viozaer Foboma leading the assault group. Despite missing 1 member of the assault team who was late in arriving to the forward staging area, CPT Foboma initiated a movement to contact. The Talz scout information proved true and the Alpha Company assault team met and immediately engaged the massive kintan. After establishing a base of fire and forming a moving perimeter a few minutes of fire and manuever brought the beast know as “Gargath” down.

Almost before a complete recovery from the encounter could occur, CPT Viozaer received top priority COMS from Aurek base. Republic spies were reporting that provisions stolen from the supply chains disrupted by the kintan's rampage were looted by Imperial scouts and were being stored in the Imperial Dorn Base cantina. TPR Holdn Reed was sent on a separate mission to a long range relay station to contact Carrick Station directly to request reinforcements. CPT Viozaer, having raided the specific cantina many times before, volunteered Alpha Company's assault team for the mission and moved the group immediately towards Dorn Base in the Fridged Plains region.

An initial scouting of Dorn base showed no unusual troop movements to indicate the Imperials were expecting an attack. The static defense forces were on station and presented a significant challenge. After a few unsuccessful attempts at gaining access to the lower levels of the base, requiring a retreat and regrouping, a lone Imperial Sniper seemed to be trying unsuccessfully to mount a defense of the base. After multiple attempts at forceful entrance into Dorn Base's lower levels and dealing with the lone sniper, a significant defensive force arrived and extended battle ensued on the higher ground directly North of the base. Alpha Company's decisive leadership and unit cohesion proved too much for the disorganized and weaker Imperial forces who were routed multiple times.

Republic Intelligence orbital platforms began reporting massive Imperial troop movements at the Drift Hills Republic Depot. This was presumably to ambush potential reinforcements for the Alpha Company assault team. Again CPT Viozaer and the Alpha Company assault team moved out to respond to the threat leaving the Dorn Base cantina for an assault at a later time..Upon arriving to the Republic depot, the Imperial forces were arrayed outside the static defenses allowing Alpha Company to take up a defensive stance inside the fixed position. Once hostilities begun, it was a quick work for the assault team to destroy the Imperials. A short time later the Imperial reinforcements arrived and engaged the Alpha Company's assault team. A protracted battle began at the depot but the Imperials were gradually pushed back into the Droid Ship Crash Site and completely destroyed.

With Drift Hills Republic Depot secured, the Alpha Company assault team returned to Dorn Base. Although still unsuccessful they had their most successful breach into the base of the day. Aurek base then reported the destruction of the Republic's Iceclaw Wampda Den Medcenter with a large occupying Imperial ground force in place murdering wounded Republic Troopers. CPT Viozaer ordered a flawlessly executed, timed, tactical QT insertion into the medical center where the Imperial forces were quickly pushed back and destroyed allowing the medical teams to continue the work of giving medical aid to wounded troopers in the region.

A final scout of Dorn base revealed that ALL of the regions Imperial combat ready troops had massed there to prevent Alpha Company's further assaults into the Dorn Base cantina. This leads to the question of what exactly was stored in the cantina of the Imperial stronghold? Alpha Company formed battle lines South of Dorn and held ground with any opposition quickly being eliminated if they approached. The Imperial forces seemed to lack a central command, likely separate mercenary groups.

After a short time it was decided that the continued assault on Dorn was doing more to disrupt the Imperial civilian population using the base as a transport hub than any actual military advantage. A tactical withdraw from the area was executed and Alpha Company's assault team performed a synchronized QT back to Aurek base for debriefing and relaxing at Aurek's own cantina.

    Positive Points:
    • Good turn out with all Troopers staying engaged in the protracted battles for more than 3 hours
    • Established a presence on Hoth that provoked an Imperial response
    • Excellent experience for new Troopers to experience open-world PVP with Alpha Company
    Negative Points:
    • Republic provisions not recovered from the Dorn Base cantina
    • 3 Alpha Company members disciplined for various infractions including unauthorized firing on enemy troops, making taunting hand gestures to the enemy and improperly addressing NCO's
•Minimal RP from Imperial players due to lack of organized response to Alpha Company presence on Hoth

    Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
In the words of CPT Viozaer Foboma at the final formation, “F****n' excellent job ladies.” The initial attempt on a world boss turned into an outstanding night of world PVP. The ongoing /say bug still plagued the minimal RP that was initiated. Given the long protracted evening involving multiple battles and objectives, I will echo SPC Jaig Ventus' suggestion from AAR dated 5/31/14 that someone be assigned to take notes on future patrols to have accurate intel for the AAR or make sure the assignment for writing the AAR is done prior to hostile actions.
