Contact Report:
Enemy Encountered: 15-17 hostiles from <Forsaken Legion>, <Clan Desh'ar>, <Reign>
Friendly/Neutral Encountered:
Contact Summary:
Around 0100 hours, Alpha Company received reports of three Imperials (one from <Forsaken Legion> and another unguilded) harassing Republic citizens around Outpost Thorazan. After Ghost first scouted the area to confirm this information, a small group of troopers was deployed to the outpost to eliminate the threat. The Imperials soon called in reinforcements, and a large group of <Reign> soon arrived on the planet. Additional troopers were also deployed to reinforce the original team. The Imperials initially breached their way into the outpost, but were quickly driven out, with some casualties on the Republic side.
The Imperials gathered their forces again, and a large battle took place outside Thorazan. Alpha Company was the clear victor of this engagement, and the Imperials retreated to Zaroshe. After patrolling to the enemy outpost and ensuring that the large bulk of the Imperial forces had left the area, Alpha Company formed up in Thorazan and were dismissed by 1LT Mij.
Positive Points:
• After both sides had nearly even numbers, the battles were mostly enjoyable.
• We successfully defended Thorazan.
Negative Points:
• It took some time for our reinforcements to arrive, which meant that we were fighting a much larger force for a while.
• Bad record-keeping (none of the screenshots I took were saved - need to fix this).
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
This provided good WPvP on the whole, and gave some of our newer troopers additional experience.
