Enemy Encountered: <Subject Alpha>, various wildlife
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Various Republic citizens and troopers, including one from <Systems Commonwealth>
Contact Summary:
A small detachment of Alpha Company troopers arrived at Olaris Spaceport at 2000hrs with orders to offer support to Republic citizens in the area. Once on planet, however, LT Galaar revealed that Command had tasked the unit with an additional objective: to retrieve an item hidden near certain coordinates in the Brell Sediment area. In between helping citizens navigate the area, the unit traveled to the objective, and despite a great deal of carelessness (accidentally setting some explosives off), managed to find the item. This happened to be a box containing some sort of encoded message, which was sent off for decryption. Nearby, Subject Alpha was being an annoyance and was swiftly neutralized. The unit then resumed its position at Olaris, aiding any citizens who requested help. At 2130, the unit was formed up and dismissed by LT Galaar.

Overall Recommendations:
The event went well on the whole, with a bit of RP thrown in. Not much activity on the planet; might schedule the next one for Ord Mantell (these things generally seem to be a bit of a crapshoot as far as player activity goes, however – we saw quite a bit of response on Taris and barely anything on Ord last time). As always, feedback (what worked/didn't work, additional ideas, etc.) is welcome.

- We were able to help low-level players (mostly with datacrons).
- Side objective was completed, and there was some RP.

- Not much activity aside from a few players who needed help with datacrons.
