Contact Summary:
Chiban and I (Jromwald) were on leave from routine patrols in Nar Shaddaa when we overheard a Sith Sorcerous claiming she was a fugitive escaped from Alpha Company (referencing the common name of the 203rd REL). We decided to detain her for questioning when she resisted. After a conflict within the cantina we were able to subdue and cuff her. We then proceeded to escort her to a more secure location when we were intercepted by two of her associates, both powerful Sith. Fortunately, a trooper with the dog-tags "Sharpknife" arrived to and provided us with support, engaging the associates. Chiban and I took advantage of the confusion and escorted the prisoner away while Sharpknife dispatched the associates. After giving sufficient thanks to Sharpknife for his assistance, he had to see to his own duties. At this time we made a request for reinforcements to which Drexxen responded, agreeing to meet us at the Upper Promenade Republic transport deck. After arriving on deck, the Sith successfully influenced our minds using the force, turning Chiban and I against each other, though we fortuitously Cryo-grenaded each other simultaneously, giving time for the effects of the influence to wear off. Drexxen arrived on scene and we were beginning the interrogation when we were distracted by an armed civilian. The Sith took advantage of this distraction and broke free of her restraints, calling for reinforcements and attacking me from behind. Chiban was able to respond and knock her over the ledge, where we presume she fell to her death. We were unable to confirm the death, however, as her reinforcements arrived immediately thereafter. We initiated a tactical withdrawal, and escaped unharmed.
Afterword, I was able to review the Quesh report submitted by Masilo and believe the Sorcerous to be the same listed in her report. See "8/4/2013 Quesh AAR" for details regarding that matter.
Positive Points:
•We learned that cooperation among the Imperial Ranks is strengthening at an alarming rate.
•We developed a friendly contact (Sharpknife)
Negative Points:
Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
I believe the mission was ultimately a failure, and in the future more diligence should be placed on prisoner's and their restraints to prevent situations where lethal force must be used to defend ourselves.
