Contact Report

Enemy Encountered: Sithari Templars, Vision of Confluence
Friendly/Neutral Encountered: None
Contact Summary: Arrived on planet at 22:50 and was met by Dragonsmith - Sithari Templar. He sat down in front of the watchtower and informed us his people would be running late, at 23:20 10-15 Imperials moved out from the Imperial Command Center and headed north stopping halfway between the two bases and set up. We moved in from the west and engaged, they moved forces around behind us using the cliffs just north of the path we took. After suffering a crushing defeat in the first engagement we moved down via the eastern side and held north of the Ice outcrop. Standing on the backside of the hill, we formed position and set out stealth scans while we waited for their force to move on us. The second engagement went far better in our favor and we broke them completely after forcing them to line of site us over the hill. Ricky directed the assault with calling out targets and pushes. After the second attack at 23:38 Dragonsmith returned to inform us that too many people had departed the field for the Imperials to put up a fight and signaled our victory for the day.

Positive Points:

• Good numbers for a last minute event
• Excellent Calls from Ricky
• Good balance of Tanks, Healers, and Damage Dealers

Negative Points:

• Imperials were late to their own event
• Stealth Scan habits need to be worked on
• Comm Discipline needs some work

Overall Assessment and Recommendation: Event was fun once it was under way, was good to see Ricky back and issuing field guidance, if Sithari Templars and Vision of Confluence can make it to events on time I am sure we can have more enjoyable encounters, Imps setup a good ambush on us and I look forward to future engagements with them. Comm Discipline needs some serious work as does stealth scan placement. Overall a rather disappointing event, but the potential for good events is there.
