    Contact Report:

    Enemy Encountered: Hrokkvir <Reign>, Aurhia <Seelund Cartel>, <UMBRA>, <Penumbral>, <Sons of Korriban>, <Clan Desh'ar>, <Dark Nightmare>, <Master of the Darkness>, <The Imperial Military>. Minimum 21 total, likely more.

    Friendly/Neutral Encountered: <Marine Expeditionary Unit>, <The True Republic>, <Knights of the Old Code>, <Axios Initiative>, <Seelund Trading Co>, <Chorba Intelligence Academy>/<C.I.A.>

Contact Summary: Alpha Company of the 203rd REL received intel that Imperial aggressors were mounting an invasion force ready to sweep the Organa house from power. The Republic Senate, in it’s desperation to save the strongest and most powerful ally on the planet of Alderaan, asked several of it’s military units and several Orders of the Jedi to help with the defense of House Organa.

Upon arrival, A. Co. formed up outside the Alderaan spaceport, checking gear and weapons to ensure maximum combat effectiveness. With voice comms relayed to Major Qorbin, the company mounted up and made their rendezvous with the Marine Expeditionary Unit at a roadblock. After scout reports indicated multiple enemy contacts moving towards the troopers’ position, Major Qorbin lead his troops to a position off of the road and laid in wait. The ambuscade never had a chance to capture it’s prey however….

For unknown reasons, the Imperial contacts seen by the scouts had not shown up just a click or two down the road, where the ambush laid in wait. Somehow, the Imperial aggressors had found and taken advantage of a secret entrance in to the House Organa grounds. With no enemy contact, 1SG Ranque and 1SG Kjvago ordered each major position to be manned by a scout, in case the Imperials somehow managed to get into a position of advantage. The main force regrouped at the main entrance to House Organa’s property, and waited.

A call was received that the Imperials were holding the training grounds inside the Organa compound. Immediately the unit swooped in on speeders, making quick work of the Imperial resistance. With no friendly casualties, the unit returned to its previous position at the front of the Organa estate.

Suddenly the call rang out over voice comms; several Imperials had infiltrated the Organa cantina and were killing indiscriminately. The troopers of the 203rd rallied behind their CO and egressed quickly on their speeders to the cantina entrance. By the time they had arrived however, the situation had been handled by the other organizations and guilds that had been called.

Reassuming position at the front gates, Alpha Company laid in wait for another major attack that did not come. Again, with almost no enemy sightings, the Imperials had managed to infiltrate House Organa, this time, in their very own palace.

With great haste, the unit tore through the grounds, pushing their speeders to the limit and almost hitting several civilians and Organa guards. Once the troopers made their way into the great hall however, the real battle began….

Immediately after entering, explosions rocked the troopers from every side, and blaster bolts filled the air. The proud and stubborn members of the 203rd showed complete disregard for their lives however, and paid no attention to the imminent danger. Rushing ever forward, the soldiers clashed into the Imperial lines, entering a bloody hand-to-hand combat to the death. While combat medics attended to those who were badly bloodied, the rest of the unit pursued deeper into the palace’s great hall. With such ferocity and violence of action, the Imperial lines crumbled, and broke into a full retreat.

The routing of the Imperials however, was short lived.

With nowhere to run, and their only escape being on the other side of battle-crazed troopers and calm, collected Jedi, the Imperials simply had to fight with their backs against the wall.

Not a single Imperial was left alive.

After several more minor engagements, the Imperial numbers grown extremely thin. With not enough forces left to take House Organa, the mission was an utter failer, and a major victory for the Republic.

After solidifying the Organa defenses, the Marine Expeditionary Unit left for Tatooine, and Alpha Company along with the True Republic made their way to the Imperial spaceport. With the successful defense of Alderaan, the Republic soldiers felt emboldened and rushed the outer, and soon after, inner defenses of the Imperial spaceport. While the battle raged against what seemed to be an endless flow of Imperials, Republic SIS operatives sliced into mainframes, stole data, and sabotaged everything from spacecraft to protocol droids. After several hours of holding off the Imperials, the Republic pulled out of Imperial territory after being unable to keep their mounting numbers at bay.

The day was won, and the soldiers of Alpha Company made sure the Imperials were aware of it.

    Positive Points:
    -Republic Victory!
    -Big multi guild WPvP event.
-We made closer ties with our allies.
-Very good interguild communication and teamwork.
-Some good fighting post event as well.
-There will be a part 2 on Corellia! HYPE!

    Negative Points:
-The Empire almost managed the win.
-Many of our officers were confused about the objectives.
-We stayed in formation long after the event had begun and the enemy had passed the scouts.

    Overall Assessment and Recommendation:
This was part one of the invasion and we won it. We could stand to improve a lot on the command level by knowing what we're getting into and starting at the designated start time. Once we got started things went better. We communicated well with our allies and they are excited to work with us again in the future.
The following members are being recommended for commendation:
    • All members present for this event are being recommended for the Legion of Combat by 1SG Kjvago Mahr and CPL Illumori Victus for their exemplary ability to follow commands and execute battle procedure.
    • All members present for this event are being recommended for the Combined Arms Medal by 1SG Kjvago Mahr and CPL Illumori Victus for their exemplary conduct with outside Republic forces.
    • 1SG Ranque Runninglighter and SSG Thavious Eldersign are being recommended for the Medal of Communication by 1SG Kjvago Mahr and CPL Illumori Victus for their work manning the control points while the rest of the unit was off fighting.
    • 1SG Kjvago Mahr is being recommended by CPL Illumori Victus for the Medal of Communication for his work in communicating enemy movements to command and for coordinating the coalition of friendly Republic forces.
